The study employs a qualitative analytical approach based on a review of academic and institutional literature. At the same time, the analysis highlights challenges related to digital inequality, insufficient infrastructure, limited technological skills, data protection, and algorithmic bias. Particular attention is given to the opportunities for integrating AI into regional development strategies in Uzbekistan. It concludes that integrating AI into regional development strategies requires coordinated investment in digital infrastructure, education, innovation ecosystems, and responsible data governance.
